Legacy PCA now can use remote dose cord (21-6220) Sims Deltec introduced new line of pumps to replace the earlier line which includes the CADD 1 (5100), Plus (5400), & PCA II (5800).
The CADD-Legacy 1 is the model shown, which replaces the CADD 1, the CADD-Legacy PCA, replaces the CADD PCA II, & the CADD-Legacy Plus, replaces the CADD Plus. The same disposables will fit all models, both new and old.
New features which have been added to the Legacy series include:
- Upstream occlusion detection
- Programmable to ON or OFF
- Air-in-line detections with user-adjustable pressure variation, or off setting.
- Detection of Cassette attachment sensor & alarm.
- Rate parameters have been increased on the Legacy versions of the CADD-1 and CADD+ to 125 mL/hr. (the CADD-1 still programs in mL/24 hrs and has been increased to 3000 mL/day).
- Rate parameters for the Legacy CADD-PCA have been increased to 50 ml/hr; concentration programming has been expanded to allow programming in micrograms/hr. Clinician bolus increased to 20 mL.
- CADD-Legacy pumps can use the same Diplomat PC Communications systems as the CADD-Prizm to download data to computer
- Legacy pumps retain a 500-item event memory
