Huber needles are used in implanted IV ports. These ports are installed in patients with poor veins in order to facilitate the administration of necessary medications. The ports are left in place on the patient indefinitely. Whenever intravenous medications must be delivered, a Huber needle is inserted into the port.
A wide variety of needle gauges and lengths are available to meet the needs of both patients and clinical settings, including: 19, 20, 22, 24 gauges in 1/2", 3/4", 1, 1 1/2" lengths.

Developed with patient and clinician safety in mind, the GRIPPER® needle is natural rubber latex-free and is available with a luer-lock Y-site for compatibility with needle-less devices.
